Huge hinge
Just got this phone. I tend to like to hold a phone right next to my face, and the hinge on this one is really irritating to have pressing against my face. I may get used to it - I don't know. Anyone else bothered by this? I'm probably just used to my lg 7000 - way different build to be sure. I might get the KRZR and hope there aren't too many bugs. I don't use the music features on any phone and am not too concerned about the camera.

In the last two months I have owned two LG VX8300s, and now a Maxx and a KRZR. (See my comparison review - https://www.phonescoop.com/phones/user_review s.php?phone=1024&r=23000#review23000)
The reason for the larger hinge on the Maxx is the focus button for the camera found there. It's an outstanding feature. But if you don't want a great camera or a good music player, why get the Maxx in the first place? I think it's the best overall phone offered by Verizon now. But if you don't need what it does (nor the extra $$ it costs), why not get the LG VX8300? It's a terrific and solid phone.
And no, the hinge doesn't bother me in the slightest. I don't like pressing a phone on my face.
