Contact pics display as thumbnails

I sized my pics generally 350 x whatever, and they fill the screen when I click on IMAGE in someone's contact info. But when they call in or I call them, they display as actually smaller than thumbnails!
Any advice?

I know that sucks. I have the Nokia from virgin and I phoned them and talked to a technician and there is no way to change this, sorry
