Well...I'm sure if I'm wrong with my response someone on here will be quick to correct me! But, in lay man's terms - if I'm not mistaken stereo bluetooth refers to the ability to listen to your Mp3's (for example) wirelessly thru "stereo" headphones (left/right speaker output), rather than "mono" output. The Motorola HT820 comes to mind.

You are correct, but to elaborate:
Stereo Bluetooth allows you to connect your phone to a stereo headset or stereo bluetooth receiver to listen to the music either saved in the phone's memory or the Transflash (MicroSD) Card.
You could listen to music on your home stereo (and your car) with certain receivers or with a stereo headset (goes on both ears.)
It allows both channels of sound to be transmitted wirelesly rather than the mono channel of calls. (Most, if not all, stereo headsets still allow voice calls.)
I can't wait for this phone, as soon as it's available online, I'm ordering it.
