is there anyway to set recorded sounds as ringtones? it dosn't seem to let me.

Try sending it to yourself as a pix msg then when you receive it select the option to save at Ringtone. Atleast that is how it worked on other LG phones

I haven't tried that yet, but also there is a program by susteen called data pilot the will let make your own ring tones.
