Palm Treo 750

Anyone elses speakerphone distort at even medium volume with certain calls or sounds that have even the slightest bass (no thumping sound just like a deeper voice)

When I first put it in it works fine (2gb) then it disappears. I need to pull it out an put it back in. After a while it again shows as "not Installed" anyone else see this happen?

I use outlook 2007 and will my treo 750 sync with it.
Secondly, I can save all my contacts under one name with three categories, ie work, mobile and home. How can I do that to save it to the sim card or my SD card? It seems I have to save it one by one....

Please advice. 🤭

Is there away to assign the volume buttons to use as a way to scroll up and down on the pages? or to do anythign else for that matter?

Hey, I am having problems connecting to m.youtube.com. I go to the website through the browser and click on the video link. Then the phone switchest to windows media player and says "connecting", it says that for a 15 seconds or so and then says "failed to find network." Has anybody else had this problem or know how to fix it. I have tried a soft resest and still no luck. Any suggestions?

Can anyone tell me if Volume Care 5.62 will work with the Treo 750

Am I missing something on the menus? Whenever I add a new contact to my phone, it automatically files it on the contact list as Last Name, First. I have not been able to find a menu item that lists "file as" which I know exists on some versions of MS Mobile.
I can always rearrange the contact on my PC and then sync it back, but that seems like a redundant step.
So is there a menu option for "display as" or "file as" somewhere that I am missing?

I am thinking about getting a treo. I like the idea of a touch screen but I have a question. While speaking on the phone can you accidently hit something on the touchscreen? Is this a problem?

How do I get rid of the voice on the call waiting? It annoys me.

I have a Treo 750 from ATT and each time I press Start, or a Program, or Setting, etc., there's an audible clicking sound. Can I silence that sound?

Anybody know how well this will work on T-Mo. I'm looking for this one or something similar for T-Mo, any suggestions would be great?

I recently switched from the HTC 8125 to the Palm Treo 750, and I am having trouble installing the Opera Mini Web Browser. On the 8125 it would automatically go to the Midlet Manager and I would run it from their, but on the Treo I get the following error: "There is no application associated with "Mini Opera". Run the application first, then open this file from within the application." There is only one file that I can download, and this is the file I try opening. I cant think of anything else I can do. If anyone has instructions on how to get Opera Mini installed on a Treo 750, I would greatly appreciate it! This Web Browser runs so much smoother and faster than the PIE, so I want to make sure I can get this installed. Thanks so much in adv...

I can get my treo to see my laptop and my laptop to see my treo, but I can't get them to connect via bluetooth for activesnyc. I sync with our email server at work via 3G. I'm just looking to use bluetooth for sending files back forth between the treo and the laptop.

I can connect via usb, but it seems to be a bit flaky and locks up occasionally. Plus it always tries to update my email, contacts, and calendar. I would just like to have the ease of using bluetooth for file transfer.

I am confused about which phone I should get. My main concern is that my phone has an EXCELLENT BATTERY LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!! I have heard good things about both and I have also heard bad things about both..... I currently have a Razr v3 and it sucks horrible!!!!! So the type of keypad isn't really a big concern to me. But the battery life is 🙂 Any help would be appreciative!!!

What have people been paying for the Treo 750's (assuming the std 2 yr contract)...

I'm thinking of maybe getting one (or the HTC 8525)...

Anyone been able to install Mozilla's Minimo internet browser on their 750? All I get is a message saying that installation was unsuccessful.

Also, can anyone recommend a good holster?

I currently have a Treo 650 that has always had reception problems and I'm ready to dump it. I was set on buying the 750 but I don't want to run into the same problems I've had with the 650. So can anyone tell me how does the 750 compare to the 8800.
