External LCD goes off
This phone is pretty cool, but it has one major problem for me.
I hate that the external LCD automatically goes off no matter what. This means that if I'm away from my phone, I can't just glance at the external LCD when I come back to see if I missed a call. Instead I have to hold the little external button to check if I missed a call.
Also, I can't just glance at it to see the time. It's like having to press a button on your watch every time you look at it!
Does anyone know if there's any way around this? Some kind of software update, hack, etc., that will make the external LCD stay on?

It is a battery saving feature. The solution is very simple, hold the volume key for about 1-2 seconds and the light will come on for a few seconds.
