Verizon..?
I'm switching from Cingular to verizon and I live near the city ( New York City). I don't know if the call quality is going to be good or if I'm going to have a good signal. I want to know if verizon is good. Any suggestions?

I can't speak for NYC but in a Consumer Reports review, Verizon was tops in all the cities tested. That is not to say that another provider wouldn't have better results in the particular location because of ehere their towers are. BUT, why worry, their ad campaign indicates satisfaction guaranteed and if your not happy within 30 days they WILL pay for all the calls you have made, take the phone back and set you right. So, if you can get that in NYC (I am in Houston) what is there to worry about? Do your own tests which are the most important, anyway.

alrighty. Thanks a lot. I think I'm going to test it out first. But verizon does seem pretty good.

the only way they pay for everything is if you port your number to another carrier.

I too changed from Cingular to Verizon. Dropped calls with Cingular were a daily routine. Since I've had this phone and Verizon (April 15th) I have not had ONE dropped call. I live in Los Angeles.
