well i bought the Sync..
😕 I've had it for a day now and let me tell you its not as bad as i was expecting the speakers on it are awesome, the display is better then most, and its easy to use. so far my only 2 issues with ti are it has no voice activated dialing, and i can't seem to get my mp3's to play as ringtones, keeps telling me they are too big, otherwise its a good phone for the price, i have 30 days to see if its worth it, the speed on downloads and uploading the media net is impressive as well, I'll continue to lurk around in case the nokia 75 does decide to come out like they said. but if your nto wanitng to wait i do suggest the sync, its worth it for the mere 100 bucks which drops to 50 bucks once you mail in the rebate

One of the things I didn't like about the Sync was the speaker volume...contrary to the Lord's post, to me it was very soft, both with or without speakerphone. Since the bluetooth headset only worked with calls, I could never hear Cingular Video content well enough. I tried the CU-500 too, and although there is much about that phone that is bad, the volume was superb.
The other major Sync problem for me was the annoying lag time in the camera shutter...a full 2 seconds. I've never come across this on a phone, it seems stupid to have to hold your postion for so long.
Other than that, I thought the Sync was a great phone, but those were major issues for me that they may not be for others.

Well the sync was a good phone, but if you travel a lot or go to rural areas, the reception is the worst I have ever seen, maybe even worse than the razor. But if you don't its a great phone.

It all comes down to the phone being able to sync with isync on my mac! That is the most important thing! I'll be damn if I have to pay $499.00 for a damn apple iphone when we all know Nokia's phones are great.

I got the lg cu500, not that im using it, i have an n73, but a nokia with us 3g would be a nice backup. The battery needs to be completely drained and charged once or twice so that electronics that monitor it to tell you how much power you have can be calibrated correctly. You should expect poor battery life the first charge, and mediocre battery life the second. After that you should be good.
