Problem with BMW bluetooth hands free

I can pair the N75 to the BMW, but they never connect. Anybody having a similar problem or know how to fix it.

Looking around this appears to be a prevalent problem with a lot of the Nokia S60 phones.

My old Nokia 6230 works great in the car.
Hopefully I can get this fixed, this is a deal breaker and the phone is going back if i cant get it working.

Did you delete the file from your old phone?

I still have the old phone, but not sure there are any files to delete. The 6230 is not S60 based.
Called Nokia and they were no help. Basically said not their, problem go away. 👿

no solution yet, Nokia blames BMW and BMW blames Nokia.
My kids have the Sync and it works fine in the car, may have to go this route or Moto V3xx.

Too bad I was really starting to like this phone.

Did you try going to BMW? They should be able to do it for you, as much as you paid for the car, the least they could do is sync it with your phone 🤣

Did you see remote smart chip mode on pg. 108 of user guide? You may have tried this but it caught my attention re your car issue.

I've had no problem with connction of the phone to Lexus phone system. First, I opened Bluetouth setup screen in the car and pressed button 'Add Phone". Screen directed me to go to the phone and to pair it with car system (and gave me passcode). As soon as N75 started pair device, i saw car system, type passcode and connected to the car system.
Hope it will work for you as well!
