What were people expecting from this phone?

I have been reading this forum for awhile now and not commenting. Just like everybody else I have sat and waited for this phone to come to light. It's a phone, it does it's job of making phone calls that should be priority. Did people expect for this phone to babysit their kids, solve world hunger issues, or drive their car for them? As far as I am concerned this phone is better than most out there on the market no matter what carrier you have.

This phone is exactly what I expected-a Smartphone-something most users don't want/need/or understand it's uses or how to use it. I don't have any hissing noise or have to ask callers if they are still there.

What I do have is voice dialing for all 200 of my contacts, as well as name id voice when someone calls, I can play music, check email and get attachments, take videos and 2mp pics, and connect/surf the web while using the speakerphone to talk to a caller-such as send a message or pic or pullup google maps without having to hang up the phone, do my stuff, and then redial the caller...

There you have it, someone that doesn't have a hissing noise out of the million things it can do. That's like saying my wife cooks, cleans, does the dishes and iron's my clothes, but she has a strange laugh and I want a divorce.

I'm not saying don't exchange it for another one, that was never in my subjects. I am merely stating that people are looking for this phone to be the God of all phones when in really it is just a phone. By the way if my wife did divorce me than she would no longer be considered my wife.
