Deleting Text messaging?

Is there an easier way to delete the text messages in my incoming folder than only doing it one by one? Takes to long? Especially if I had a busy day and ended up with 30 text messages. Thanks for the help?

go to messages, select options, press Mark/Unmark and then choose Mark all, go to options again and then delete!
