ATT BRANDING?

when is the n75 going to be att branded? also are they still on back order?

i just got an email from cing mine is on its way finally maybe some bugs were ironed and maybe att branded who knows

Its not going to be att branded till june supposedly, but that was because they had around 17,000 that were cingy branded that they had to get rid of first, so after they are sold they will probably be att branded. I've also heard from nokia rep that b/c of all the "hissing" issues, the phones were sent back. As for delay, I'm not sure, i called cingy corporate and they said sometime this week, best buy doesn't know when. So take a guess

Bought my daughter a sync this past Saturday, it was AT&T branded. Her carrier display also says AT&T not Cingular like my wife's and my N75.

When is everybody going to get sick of this branding business..no wonder Nokia has abandoned the US market-I'm surprised they do business with Cingular at all. All they do is cripple the phones as they were intended to be..thank goodness for SIM cards so we can go out and just get a phone direct from the manufacturer

Nokia abandoned the US market, can you please give a source? I guess all these flagship stores in NY, Chicago and LA are all for nothing?

Nokia isn't a god, its a business, they are in the business to sell phones, it isn't up to Cingular, T-Mobile, Vodaphone ... to please Nokia, its the other way around.

Just open your eyes and take note of the lack of Nokia phones in any of the carriers stores. The flagship stores are there to sell UNBRANDED UNLOCKED phones-my hat is off to them in trying to make an inroad in marketing their phones that way, and not knuckling under to the heavy handed demands of the carriers-especially Cingular.
