Mac Users...HELP!!!
Help-
I just received my new n75 and want to put music on my memory card. How do I reformat my music so it will play? I can load songs on the card but they are in a non-supported format (itunes...m4p I think) Every time I put a cd in my computer it loads in itunes. Is there a free file converter available and what is the best format to convert the songs to on the Nokia music player? My photos work great and I can transfer them to and from iphoto to memory card very easily and the pictures look great, but i would love to be able to utilize the music player as well because my ipod was stolen and I don't want to plunk down another $300 😳 HELP!

iTunes has a feature that will convert your AAC files to MP3 or whatever you want.
Also, when ripping CD's, have them imported as an MP3 maybe. In iTunes go to 'Edit', 'Preferences', 'Advanced', 'Importing'. There you can change the type of file it imports it as.

You can also convert existing AAC/mp4 iTunes files into mp3 by highlighting, right click, then select 'convert to mp3'. This will work on everything except songs from the iTunes store. It does create a copy, though, so it can eat up disk space pretty quick.

Thanks...I'm in business. Have to create a second copy of the songs I want to load, but it works great, loaded easily and sounds really good on the phone. Thank you both for the advice.
The dummy from Nokia Support said it wasn't possible and they didn't offer any solution. They are terrible with service questions.
