Nokia N75
Nokia site shows phone as out of stock.
On Nokia's site they have option to buy the n 75 but show it as being out of stock. It used to just say coming soon. I think we are getting close now.

the site has been showing that for a while now. look for the phone to drop sometime in late february. its not coming soon as its not even on cingular's rebate sheet.

yeah thats been there for a week or two now...but I was thinking what if there is no mail in rebate for the N75? Just discounts for a new contract? Which means we may see it January...

I, along with nyyankees, have been following the Howard Forum discussion (they have ridiculous Mods over there btw) but a lot of the people who "testers" have been saying it will be a while before it's released.
Just the other day one of the testers said something about late Feb at the earliest. C'mon already. My V3 is gasping for breath. I need this to drop now!

yah i feel the same way donnyD. i need to upgrade my V3 as well. but it looks like at this point, the a707 looks to be the only alternative.
i wouldnt count on the N75 anytime soon, looks like they ran into some bugs in the software. either that, or the cingular firmware messed up the phone.
its a shame though, the N75 looked very promising.

i have the sync. Its a nice phone. The screen is hot [although the N75 looks better] and its fairly good overall. The things i hate are the volume, media player can't minimized [no multitasking]. If the N75 would be canceled i would def. be happy with my sync, but I def want the N75 more

The sync sucks. I may just use the krazr (as much as I hate razers) until this thing drops.

The Sync Is an excellent phone!!! Not as 'pretty' as some but has everything you want. Want I used to hack in my V3 you can do through the menus in the sync. The Sync Rocks. I just recently switched to Sprint because of employee price on plans and have the M610. It is n't half as good as the sync and cost $130 more. Buy the sync and forget the damn n75!!!!!!!!

i know nokia's been pretty pissed for a while that carriers are wanting to dumb down their software espically with vzw. you think this could be the case?
