Warranty
Just a suggestion, with AT&T you only have a 30 day warranty with this phone. During those thirty days you can send the phone back 3 times if you are having problems. If you register your phone on www.nokiausa.com, than you have a full year warranty, but you have to have proof of purchase. I think they would know how to service their phones better than a Cingular / AT&T rep that tell you to just turn you phone off and back on.

Great Job on the Review.... NOT
You guys did an excellent job making this phone sound very average. How about a section comparing it to other at&t 3G phones? How does this phone stack up to the v3xx? What about the SYNC? The CU500v? This phones smokes them all.
Physically, you know what you're getting. The phone is HUGE. Thanks for pointing out the obvious. This phone was never meant to make the current generation of Razr look-a-likes look like F_A_T BOYS.
The facts about this phone are these; 1. Screen is enormous and beautiful. 2. Signal and Sound Quality are exceptional. 3. From a function stand point, this phone knocks the socks off any at&t 3G entry to date.
But what else can I say, you guys were right, after all. How bout a video to accompany this review?

N75 and GPS Nav?
I have owned the N75 for a couple of weeks and so far I really like it a lot. I am wondering if anyone has used it as Navigation device? and so, which HW/SW works with this phone? Thx

Lame Review
This is the first and currently only 3G Nokia Symbian phone in the US. That alone makes it compelling. Why no mention of that in the review. There's a bit that talks about a slow browsing experience, but that doesn't mean anything.
How about video streaming? This is the only symbian phone that can do decent streaming and it's not even discussed. What about using it as a tethered modem?
Until the N95 supports WCDMA 1900, this is the best Cingular phone.

I own one and "mostly" agree with this review
I have owned my N-75 since the day they arrived at my store, great phone overall- I think he was a little harsh about the black rubber covering as Nokia was only listing to what at the time Cingular wanted.
THe camera is a tad tricky to get used to, but once you get the hang of it, it rocks. Sound quality is just as reviewed, but NOkia has always had and issue with very noticable handoffs and network chanes causeing a 1/4 second audio cutout or clicks.
Overall this is still the best phone i have ever used, My 8525 is collecting dust on my computer desk.

Help, confused by rumor
I plan to order a N75 from ATT in a couple of days, however, I got some confusing information about N75 today. Rumor has said that ATT allows user download media files (mp3 or maybe video) from limited website (e.g. yahoo, napster).
It is really confusing... ...
Is this true, or can I*load my own media file into N75 with Bluetooth, cable or MicroSD card?

stuck between nokia 6126 or N75 which is better"
in regards to call quality, loud ear piece volume on highest setting and has/holds good RF signal reception betweeen 6126 and N75? which would you buy? is there a high pitch noise, buzzing popping sound on the N75? its a shame if it does or is someone on these reviews making it up with those problems? if you had to choose between tmobile and cingular which one would you go with? lately i find out in brookolyn new york they have only 1 or 2 towers in my area. i found out when electric went out on the block where those 2 towers are located. i had no signal for 2 days and there was no other tower to pick up. i tried to roam on cingular but it kept telling me no system access. even though i have 1000 minutes for 45.99 with unlimited night/ week...

vs 5300
Some of this was mentioned in the review, but here are my observations:
So from what I can tell there is little advantage to this phone over the Nokia 5300 other than UMTS for many customers. The 5300 includes many of the same features like being highly customizable and the active home screen.
The 5300 does lack the email client and S60 platform, however it does use the updated S40 platform with a very similar interface (but no Symbian 3rd party applications). The camera on the N75 does seem to be a bit better on the N75, though.
The 5300 seems to be a world apart from the N75 when it comes to functioning as a music player, and the interface on the 5300 seems much speedier.
My conclusion is if you need web/email/symbian apps go f...

My N75 Has Shipped!!
My N75 has shipped and will be at my house today. Yay!! 😁 I only had to wait a week, so that's not too bad. I hope they fixed the bugs in it. I will post back after I charge it up and fool with it for a while.

Deleting Text messaging?
Is there an easier way to delete the text messages in my incoming folder than only doing it one by one? Takes to long? Especially if I had a busy day and ended up with 30 text messages. Thanks for the help?

Delay?
Does anybody know why nobody seems to have any of these phones in stock? Its been about 2.5 weeks and they are still out of stock. Is it a software issue, I mean its been delayed forever and then they release it and run out of stock????? Makes no sense.
Anyone have an A2DP update?
Just wondering if anyone has heard if and when the a2dp support might be coming and where it will be available from .

Been backordered for 2 weeks now!
I've contacted the Premier Business group at Cingular (that I ordered the phone through) and they continue to tell me that they are expecting an order to come in the next day. I've been told that for 2 weeks now. They have not received any phones into their inventory since I ordered my phone 2 weeks ago. Let's hope the delay is due to Nokia working out some of the bugs before shipping more inventory. This morning I was told they are expecting a large shipment tomorrow????? Has anyone heard anything different?
