Blackjack and ActiveSync 4.5 - 3 computers 3 different results
Hello
I just bought my Blackjack a week ago. I have been trying to install the active sync 4.5 software on 3 different computers and I have gotten different results each time. I have been successful on only one computer. Cingular chat has tried to help but they have not succeeded. I tried Microsoft support and I got someone in India who gave some very unintelligent advice (msconfig) and the level 2 support person at Samsung had no idea what to do. In fact I found out that he was supposed to bring up to level 3. All this has wasted a lot of time and made me very frustrated.
All three computers are running XP. I am installing the same software.

I am somewhat new to this also. Suggestion - Check Settings / Connections / USB. This should be changed to Active Sync for your issue. I have found on some computers that Firewall software conflicts with Active Sync. Disable/Stop your Firewall service to test. Goto Active Snyc and delete any previous profiles related to the Blackjack. Try reconnecting using USB. I hope this helps.
