Problem with Random Calendar Alerts
My Samsung Blackjack Calendard reminders/alerts are driving me nuts, unless I turn them off completely.
If I set Reminders or Alerts for my appointments in Calendar, they start going off at all different times even several days in advance.
I have tried turning off all Tasks, but the Reminders/Alerts seem to keep going anyway. (By the way, when the alerts go off and I go to turn off Tasks, the only Task showing is ActiveSync -- I wonder why that is.)
So, has anyone else had this problem and is there any solution other than not setting any alerts or reminders?
And does anyone know why if the Reminders/Alerts occur, why it is that the running Task is ActiveSync?
Any help would be great!

I had this issue and an issue with my call log. Turns out turning off the auto update feature fixed it. I am guessing it was an issue with a tower having the wrong date and time.

Sounds like a good possibility, especially since I had no alerts going off all day yesterday, then last night around 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. they went off 4 or 5 times.

This happened to me once. The bottom line is the phone must have picked up an incorrect time.
The other time it happened, was when I mistakenly set the date on my laptop to 2008. As soon as I connected my phone via AtiveSync all the reminders started to go off.

I had this problem. I noticed that everytime it happened, my phone suddenly thought it was March 17th, 2008. So, I turned off the auto-update of date/time and the problem went away.
