Has anyone had problems syncing this phone w/ Outlook 2003 using Activesync 4.2 ?

I can't get it to sync at all. My laptop thinks the phone is a modem and switches over as soon as the phone is plugged in. I have been all the way to level III tech support with no resolution.

You probably have your cable connection set to modem. I have switched the usb connection to modem when using the phone as modem for cingular connect. YOu must go into 'settings' then 'connections' then 'usb'. Make sure you select Active sync. See if this works.
