getting email on my Blackjack using Yahoo!
I cant set up my email on my BJ and I use yahoo. I called Cingy tech support and they said it was because Yahoo now charges a monthly charge because they cant display ads on the mobile this way. Strange thing is I can put my sim card back in my Treo 650 and I can still get my emails. Whats the deal? 😡 I also do not have express mail preloaded on my BJ. How do I get that?

You don't need to subscribe to Yahoo premium to receive yahoo mail on your Blackjack. All you need to do is install Yahoo Go on your Blackjack. I'm getting Yahoo mail on my Blackjack and I don't have Yahoo premium mail. Go here to set it up: http://sites.mobile.yahoo.com/go/mobile

Yahoo Go doesn't support the blackjack yet. I tried to get it last night, and it was a no go. They support the sync though. Go figure. 🙄

It works fine on my phone. I've got Yahoo! Go installed on my Blackjack and it works great. The Yahoo Go! menu comes up fine and all the icons I've tried have worked (Mail, Sports, News are the ones I've checked out.) Try it again.

Now I just went to go.yahoo.com on my blackjack, and tried to download it. Here is what it said...

NExt page tells you to connect your phone to your PC then click Download the Software. I'm not sure where you're running into trouble but it went real smooth for me.

I just went to that link, and tried again. When I pick Cingular, the Blackjack doesn't come up as a supported phone, and when I try to download directly, I still get the same message. Phone not supported.
