first to post, nice phone too bad it doesnt have a slot for more memory.

1gb is a lot so there's no need for a memory card slot. Most people wouldn't even buy 1gb memory card for it. (My guess would be 512 the most).

I think we concluded that those people aren't worth reading. However I will take a sanyo over a samsung any day. Samsung have great features except one. Their RF radio. And that is the main feature you need to be good. I still use me phone 98% of the time to make and receive calls!

My question is why ready link? With Qchat on it's way how many people would even consider getting any ready link phone.

b/c Qchat will only be available in EVDO markets in late 2007, people by the time it takes for them to have the ability to get Qchat they could get another phone and have it for 2 years befor qchat is available.

I have had the a920, the 9000 and now the M1. My 9000 did better than the a920 did on signal strength, and my M1 works just about everywhere that the 9000 did (only had it a for 3 days, haven't been able to get out of town yet to test it).

I had them side by side in debug mode, 920 would alway show better performance, and the 9000 would constantly drop where the A920 held the call. Might be a difference in reception on 1900MHz Sprint coverage and 800MHz Roam between the two, I tested them on a 1900 MHz tower. Its even possible the Sanyo 9000 was defective, it was brand new. But as for me the 920 performed well.

😳 Sanyo phones are awesome your post is whacked , I have owned several sanyo over the years all excellent products.

that is through backup on your computer. Yes you can back it up, but how many customers are gonnaa come in the store w/ there phone broken and water damaged, and want what they had on there phone. But we can't get it since its not a micro sd. Sorry if you don't like my opinion.
I understand that opinions are armpits everyone has them and they usually stink. So feel free to disagree. As for me, Sanyo has not made good phones since the VM4500 (which was amazing for the time). They are currently going out of business. And everyone of there recent phone in our lineup that are Sanyo, have major issues. So that is what I base my opinion on. I personally have used and have active on my personal account the 8100, 8200, 8300, 5500, 4500, 200, 2300 2...

Oh so the only place you store your MP3s is on your micro SD card? Come on. If you are putting them on your phone they are surely backed up on your computer.
Oh, and Sanyo Electronics isn't going out of business. They are (and have been) considering their sale of the wireless division because they dont have a large market share in the U.S. and they are dominated by AnyCall in Korea and the rest of Asia.

Yes, I am a little disappointed that it doesn't have the memory card slot. If I had a nickel for every customer that asks if the phone can be used to read the memory card through usb, I'd have a helluva lot of nickels.
