I know...Odd question...
But what is the "buddy" for this phone. I know it's kinda childish and silly, but I always thought that was one of the cutest things about Sanyo phones...the buddy...and I know they change with each phone, or every couple of phones, right? So...what's the buddy on the M1? TIA!
...
a character that dances in the foreground of a lot of sanyo phones.

Lol...it's the funny little thing that's on the main screen of the phone in standby mode...you can turn it off and on. go to main menu/settings/display/my buddy. turn it on (if it's off) and tell me what it is on the M1...please! Thanks! 😉
...
Oops...It's actually Main Menu/Settings/Display/OTHERS/My Buddy...my bad! 🤭

I thought the buddy died with the 6600, it's not on the 8400 either. I don't think the M1 has a buddy.
...
Yes it does, and so does the 8400. the one on the 8400 is a little mouse. and I know the M1 has it cuz i'm looking at the menu matrix, and it wouldn't have an option for it if it didn't have it. you are right, though, the katana does not have it.
...
Katana doesn't. At least I can't find it. I miss the buddy. I like it!
...
Yeah...my dad got the Katana...it doesn't have it...sorry wombough!

😁
Its a POLAR BEAR. White

Awesome!! Thanks! I'm SOOO getting this phone now! 😁

One exception though. when you put your buddy active on the M1, you cant use any themes. just plain wallpapers.
so if you like themes ( kinda like moving wallpapers ) you wont be able to have the buddy active.
...
Nuh-uh! Seriously? That's dumb! 😡 Think there will be a software upgrade that will change that??
