what software can i use to take of copyright protection and convert dvd's to play on my phone. Any Suggestions?????

I used Aimersoft DVD Ripper and it worked good for classic Star Trek episodes, but when I tried converting the Simpsons, I had immediate sound syncing issues.
I'm looking for a good solution as well. I know that version 3 of Adobe Premiere Elements allows you to export in .3GP format.
I need to upgrade to that. I'll let you know once I gave it a test run.
In the meantime, did anybody else have a app that did the job?
