I'm waiting for the online a t & t deals to get 4 of these phones for free. The Samsung d807 is being offered for no additional charge, but the v3xx trumps it. With the Razr2 coming out, how soon will prices come down on the v3xx?

A related thought to my original question is this: is the v3xx worth waiting for, or should I just move on to other options?

V3xx is a very nice phone. I sell about eight a day out of my store.

This weekend my family goes with one of these phones; ironically, they are rated equally by reviewers on this site. I lean towards the V3xx. Is this "6 of 1 and half a dozen of another?"

I tried the Sync about 6 months ago, but ended up with the Razr. I'm very happy with it. The Razr will do everything the Sync will, but with a better interface, what I think is great call quality, and more internal memory. I don't remember all I didn't like about the Sync, but i do remember a big complaint as the horrible shutter delay of the camera. I had to hold it steady for 3 seconds till it took a pic. They're both good phones, but I'm glad I waited for the razr.

Thank you. Earlier today, I learned via A T & T online that the V3xx was free with a new plan and $49 rebate. My family now owns 4 of these. I can see already that this model makes my old Razr look obsolete. I appreciate your input.

I tried the Sync and it really sucked! Aside from the weird interface (which I could have gotten used to), the reception was really bad. I was dropping calls a lot plus I was getting that cutting in and out syndrome.

The RAZR v3xx's call quality is great! It still doesn't beat the reception I had on my old Nokia 3220 (simple phone, but great reception), but then of course NOTHING has beat that phone in terms of reception yet.

The RAZR is great for the quality of sound in the call. Nice full tones and no tinny sound like other phones have.

I love my RAZR. I just wish that the MOBIPOCKET reader supported that phone so I can expand my ebook library!

Considering that I bought the V3xx for nothing yesterday, I know this decision between phones is over. A rep at A T & T said that music sounded better on the Sync, but she also said that the upgraded Razr had more to offer. In just a day of use, I agree with what you said about the purity of sound quality regarding calls. This just feels like a real solid phone....
