I know the official news. There is one camera. Video conferencing will be available on the phone in the 2nd half of the year as a firmware update. Its coming out in v3i style color and gold next month. It will be available tomorrow. Its so cheap becuase cingular makes money on the data service and also wants to migrate people to 3g phones.

Yes, however the rebate can take up to 3 months which is $60 worth of internet for the 3 months so it would be better to just not do the rebate. But honestly, if you all want to gripe about having the media plan or not, you should just get another phone. The highlight of this phone is the internet and data speeds... you might as well get a v3r or something.

I just wish the media max (19.99) came with more than the skimpy 200 messages. Coming from a blue plan in which incoming text are free. This is going to hurt. 🙂

for 29.99 you get unlimted data and 1000 messages. messages are increasing to 15 cents a minute for cingular and verizon so thats a better value... keep in mind, you can work the system and teather your razr to a laptop

I will stick with my plan, 19.99 for unlimited data, 1500 text, and 200 mms, and I can hook it to a computer and use as a modem.
