Has anyone figured out how to put their mp3 songs as ringtones when on the storage card?

Not all of them work. I think they have to be saved in some particular format.

i am so confused about this phone v3xx. can you download full songs? or can you just download your music for a 30 sec ringtone?

Your ringtones must be under 600k in size and be encoded with 256 kbps or less.

easiest way to make a ringtone is to grab a copy of moto phone tools and take whatever portion of the track you want and send it to the phone, it will format it for you. use your memory card for all of your song files that you want to play through the media player.

I have a mac and use the bluetooth connection to send tones to the phone which shouldnt be any different from mobile phone tools. However, whenever i send a tone over it only lets me play it through the player and not as a ringtone which is very annoying. Anyone have any ideas how i can get this to work? thanks
