Why the iPhone will go down as one of the worst phones EVER!!!
I personally am a iPod fan but thats where it stops. I could talk all day about how bad this phone is but I will try to be brief as possible. First off even Cingular (Or is it AT&T i'm so confused) has admitted this is more a iPod than a phone. Second instead of getting a reputable manufactuer (i.e. Motorola, Samsung, Nokia) to handle the phone side Apple just decided to do it themselves. They may make a great mp3 player but they don't know jack about cell phones. That is why the iPhone is missing key features such as video. Reasons 3-84 have already been mentioned so I wont waste your time repeating them. Long story short a 4GB iPod is only $200 and a way better investment than the EXTREMELY overpriced iPhone but then again it's not my mone...

I read that on one of the sites that phonescoop has a link for. It was in a story from when Steve Jobs first unvailed the iPhone back in January so it will be alittle hard to find now.

Don't know why so many people feel so threatened by this phone, unless it's because they know many people will have it and they just can't afford it.
I've never owned an Apple or an IPOD and am a diehard Nokia fan, but it seems Jobs goal was to make an "easy to use cellphone" and comeon folks-it can't be that hard to make a device to easily make calls on and send messages. Hell, most of my friends know very little about their various phones, because they are too lazy to read the owners manual like most people.
I say "Hell ya" give it a go Apple! Just maybe it will be a success. Don't know if I'll get one right away or wait, but 200 new patents, whew. We

I have been in wireless for 8 years and have seen too many crappy phones with a lot of hype (Yeah i'm talkin' to you Motorola Razor) to put any faith what so ever in this phone. The sad fact about todays society is if something is trendy enough to consumers it doesn't matter if it works. Apple definantly knows that so they will charge you $600 for a phone that doesn't work and maybe I can't blame them because you will buy it too seem cool.

Okay lets continue, or they will try to convince others that they know more about wireless than say Apple, who builds one of the most powerful desktops on the planet and wireless laptops as well. Do you really believe the BS your slinging, that Apple doesn't have the technology to build a quality wireless device? Sure I'll agree it's pricey but so is the HTC 8525 at 600 and the BB Pearl at 400 and lets not forget the BB 8800 at 500. and none of these devices have over 128Mb. Your talking about a 4Gb music player with phone. At 200 for an Ipod and 400 for a phone not a bad deal. If you don't like it don't buy one, but only a horses-ass would trash something they have never used or even seen. And don't tell me you have because I know you haven...
