Still no data pricing.... does anyone have the data pricing?
Is it also true that this phone wont do MMS?
...
Technically the iPhone does not have a MMS client built in. However, you can email the pictures to another cell phone provided you know the cell's email address.
...
Not true, most cell phones that have an email address will only receive text and not the attachment of the picture. Most cell phones send pictures via a link to the senders online storage.
...
Incorrect dublea - you can send a picture or video or voice note via email to yours or anyone elses phones email address i.e. 1231234567@mms.mycingular.com. They will receive the attachment not just text. It is done all the time.

Same here...

1234567890@vzwpix.com for Verizon
1234567890@mms.mycricket.com for Cricket

I just have one question...I work for a AT&T agent, obviously we won't get it. BUT....will phones be available WITHOUT plans? Can I buy this phone for my personal use and just put my current SIM card in it? Most importantly...what will it cost? I'm willing to wait in line for the phone but if I have to pay $900 because I'm not getting a plan, that makes me wonder. Besides, will I get mugged outside the store? Remember all the PS3 robberies?

The $499.99 and $599.99 price points are firm prices. There is no difference between the the No Commitment price and 2-year contract price. However, you can only purchase the device with the plan that goes with it (still un announced). Also, there will be no discounts on the "iPhone Plan", so even if you get an employee discount i.e. ERP, you can't use that with the iPhone. The iPhone WILL NOT WORK without the iPhone plan under no circumstances.
...
You can not buy the iPhone without signing a 2yr svc agreement, it says so on the iphone website.

I find it interesting that you know all this information that everyone else doesn't. Can you please cite your sources that the iPhone will not work without a specific data plan and that there is no difference between 2 yr contract and no commitment procing.
...
I don't know where he gets his info, but he should read the iphone website

I work on the inside and I assure you, it wont work without the "iPhone" plan. And when it says that it requires a contract, that means that you have to have a contractual agreement with at&t to get the device (and subscribe to the service, whatever that's going to be). You wont be able to say, buy it and use it as an iPod w/o having a phone number. Or using it with another GSM Provider. Or use it with Pre Paid. What I said earlier was that you can purchase it as long as you are already with at&t or signing up for new service. If you are signing up new, you have to sign a new contract.

I understand what you're saying but I also work on the inside and though I have heard rumors regarding what you are saying, I have not gotten a concrete answer on anything that you have posted other than that you have to have at&t service to get an iPhone.
...
Nothing I have posted thus far has been a rumor. If it were, I would have stated as such. Everything I have posted, I know to be fact. But I'm still not sure what the iPlan will be.
...
A insider told me that apple stores will be getting the iphones in around 4-5pm on the 29th via FedEx. Apple is not taking any chances.
...
Also between 4-5pm the apple store will be closed for the shipment to arrive.
...
thats a big fat no there partner
...
Each location will have a security guard on site to prevent any "PS3" incidents.
...
does that mean that the stores will say they have a "large inventory" of the product and then on launch day actually have about 5?
better have the tazers ready 🤣

hahahahhahahahhahahhahahahhahhaaa
