I am looking into buying an unlocked iPhone with T-mobile. I was wondering if anyone who has one can give me info on how well it works with the T-mobile network?

It works just like it would on att except the visual voicemail which isnt that special. It will go on your plan just like any other unlocked phone and you can use tmobile edge even with the 6$ tzones package.

go to settings->general settings->network->edge settings-> and type wap.voicestream.com in the APN box, leave the username and password blank.

I just bought an unlocked i phone from ebay the otherday and was wondering if apple softeware update 2.0 will work on it. Right now it has the 1.0.2 version .The seller said the edge internet, visual voicemail, software updates whont work on it just checking to see if it is true.
