iPhone and BMW adapter inquiry

Any BMW drivers here currently using the iphone via the optionable USB adapter. If so i would like to know what happens while you are listening to music on it and a call comes in, does it go straight to voicemail or you can pick it up just like you would be able to while listening to music on it the normal way. Thanks

When a call comes in the music will mute. Once the call is over then the music comes back. The iphone is great except for call waiting while driving. It will hang up on the person if you use the steering wheel control.

So you mean i can pick up the call once the music mutes?

also is your reply referencing the older adapter or the new USB based adapter? or it works same way for both. thanks a gr8 deal

When you are listening to music and recieve a call the music will automatically mute while your speakers ring that you have a call. If you have idrive it shows the call onscreen. When you hang up the music continues. This is the new USB on my 2008 335i coupe.
