I emailed a pic to the phone, downloaded it, but have no option to save. I thought it could be saved to phone and used as wallpaper. Am I wrong?

Yeah that's not a feature yet. You have to save the photo to your computer then sync your iphone. ☹️ Bummer. I wish apple would come out with that feature. I heard they are working on it but i'm not holding my breath.
