t-mobile made a huge mistake in not including some kind of camera with this phone. even a simple VGA camera would have been worth adding.....but I work at a T-Mobile store and I haven't seen a SINGLE ID sold since it was released. People just can't get past the fact that it has no camera.

First of all....It's a great device for the deaf. Secondly, if you put a VGA camera on it why not just get the sidekick II? It's the same exact thing with a new case and EDGE. I work at T-Mobile as well and I've sold a few. But I work at a low volume store and most of our custmer's are Smart Access and inevitably they come in and say, "I want that free phone," and then get mad when it breaks 2 months later. Not only will they not buy the phone but they won't pay for the Sidekick SOC cause they don't realize what a cost-benefit analysis is. It's a smart move to try to bridge the gap between markets but as is usual with any new danger product, very poorly executed.
