More redundancy from Samsung

I hear enough already about Motorola and practically all their designs stem from the RAZR. Samsung is no angel. With the exception of some altered designs on some Sprint phones, all their phones are clones of each other in some way or another. 😕

Alot of truth in what you said, and not only from Samsung. But, also to be honest, this phone is not ment to be a fashion statement, but just more or less a basic phone with a few features of which it probably doesn't pay any phone company not to provide. I'm not anti-Motorola, have a V3xx lying around and it is a very good phone which alot of people confuse with older models which quite frankly aren't as good. I am also waiting for the Q9h to come around.

Quadband GSM is sorta become an at&t thing with its relentless commericals talking how well their stuff can be used all over the world. Decent color lcd, Edge and brower, because they make the basic chip structure that it would probably cost them more to modify the chipset to leave ...

Redundancy is a big plus and a distinct advantage in this case. I have both the A707 Sync and the new A717. Samsung is perfecting this form factor and improving call quality and other functionality on a steady basis. I have tried this phone and it's very impressive. A good basic phone has a lot of advantages and this is one of the best. I know, I have about 20 other new phones that I have purchased in the last year.
