I just bought this model 3 weeks ago off ebay from a seller named commcentral out of Texas.I got the phone for 106.00 u.s. dollar's on bidding plus 10.00 fror shipping. And i can vouch and say if you are not looking for a hi-tech phone and can deal with a standard vga camera then this is the phone for you.I get more than one hour more the posted talk time.Only have to charge the phone once a week and with it having 2.0 bluetooth and a microSD slot up to 2 gig's i couldn't beat it.Phone has very good speakerphone (loud if you wish) gets very good signal(i use t-mobile in a moderate area)and though i don't like the ringer's and wall's it comes with i put my own in it and they are fine.Phone also has 5mb user memory instead of the 4 posted. The o...

Thanks very much! For me, it would be a flip phone and have many upgrades from my Nokia 3220.
I'm looking for good battery life, great reception, louder earpiece and speaker volume, and more data storage.
It looks like this phone has all of that.
I could care less about the camera. Not a selling point for me as well.

🙂 Then you have found a good phone as long as your not looking for everything and a bag of chips 🤣 .I mean they are not built like the nokia 6270 of Moto Krzr having actual metal on the phone. But in a price range that these are in and not wanting it *All* and just a normal phone with a few extra's then i find this to be a happy medium.I used all the high end phone's and got the high end troubles with them.So when i found this one and then my wife's co-worker having one through Cincinnati Bell wireless and though her phone is a pinkish one i liked what it had on it and she told me the same thing that i posted bout phone. If your not in our area to use Cincinnati wireless then if you want one you'd about have to go to Ebay or there are sit...

To those that asked..I use this phone on T-Mobile..But Cincinnati Wireless carries this model now(the 6085) in Dark Blue and a Pinkish color. They are made in what they sall a *Sand* ot tanish looking color and i have seen a picture of a Black one but have seen nowhere to purchase this color, not even on Ebay.I got a Silver one.And if there is another U.S. Carrier that has this phone,i haven't seen it listed on their perspective website's.But i think this phone will hit a few more carrier's..Oh there is one i just remembered.Roger's Wireless in Canada has this phone. But if you buy one of them unless you know someone that deal's with Roger's they charge 30.00 dollar's to do a SIM carrier unlock.I know i called them.Plus you sending the phone to...

I just got a 6085 from AT&T, which used to be Cingular. It was free with a 2 year contract. I have always had Nokia phones and I like them, my absolute favorite being the 3120 I had and used hard for 2 years, but the reception started to fail, and both Nokia and Cingular told me I needed a new phone, that it couldn't be fixed.
I have not activated it yet, but as I fool around with the settings, I see that it doesn't have the usual Nokia battery and reception indicators, the nice bars up the right and left side of the phone face, but this little LITTLE tiny thing on the top left of the display. That was one thing I always hated about Motorola phones was that too-small reception and battery display, and now I'm stuck with it too. I have g...

Though this is kind of an old thread, I thought I'd put in that I've been comparing the Nokia 6085 and the Sony Ericsson Z750 (or Z750a at the AT&T site).
My current AT&T is an older Nokia 2610 and I've been wanting a camera phone that does better than VGA, and something that streams audio, radio, off the net.
The descriptions of both of these phones over at the AT&T site said that both have XM radio.
It said the Nokia 6085 has MobiTV also besides XM. That wasn't mentioned on the Sony. The Sony has a lot more memory to begin with but both phones are expandable.
The biggest apparent neg compared to the Sony is that the Nokia cam only has VGA, and the Sony cam is 2mp.
The Sony has a QVGA display, 2.2", 240 X 320 res, and the ...

I own the Nokia 6085 and I absolutely love it. It has many upgrades that the Nokia 6102i did not have. It has been very reliable for me so far and I highly recommend it to people who wish to purchase it.
