Why doesn't Pantech include a memory card in their phones?

Being a basic phone this has just basic features.
There are phones in the pipeline that do include memory card slots as well as 3G bands and more...

if you'd look at the specs you'd realize this is a replacement for the L6 by Motorola, it offers more memory along with an easier UI (pantechs) so for a free phone (2year contract) its a good buy

This is an entry-level phone. In a whole lineup of phones, obviously the lower-end models won't have all of the features.
All of Pantech's higher-end phones for this year do have memory card slots:

Of course this is going to be an very nice entry level bar phone.
I think what chocolateman85006 was getting at is, what is the point of a2dp with only 12mb of internal storage? Seems like a2dp would go hand in hand with an expandable memory.
