HTC Mogul / XV6800 / PPC6800 / P4000
Any chance XV6800 will be better than Mogul?
I know they are the same basic phone. I am wondering if the firmware will be different in VZW's version so that it does not have all the BT problems that the Mogul has now.

Looks like another buiness launch
It seems that the x6800 will launch for the business channel 11/28/2007. However I do not know the consumer date yet. Usually they are about a week/two weeks apart.

Alarm question
Hello!
I saw a Sprint thread regarding the alarm not working if the phone is off.
Should the alarm work if the phone is turned off? I have VZW and am waiting for the XV6800.
With my old Moto E815, I could set the alarm and then turn off the phone and it would wake up and sound the alarm.
My i760 is going back on Friday. The alarm not working from an Off state is only one annoyance.
I need to be able to have the phone turned off and yet still come on to sound the alarm.

Hello everyone. I've been trying to make a decision on which phone to upgrade to for a REALLY long time now, and I'm really stuck between these two. Verizon - 2 Questions about web browsing
Any chance for cheap pay-as-you-go vcast web browser? I don't need web browsing often, and speed isn't a concern either. But I'm not able to shell out $45 a month for high speed access....
I am really buying this for a good phone PDA with a decent camera. But the net would be a nice benefit.
I assume I can always use the WIFI for free net browsing without a data plan, right?

Msn messenger live contacts
I have a question about this.. on the Mogul I would like to sign into MSN messenger, however it wants to sync up all of my contacts on my msn messenger list with my address book. It gives me the option of "OK" or "Cancel"
I would like to sign in to msn messenger on the phone without syncing the emails up, I have 150+ emails added on the list and it would be a HUGE annoyance to have all those on the contact list, I would never be able to find my REAL contacts.
Any workaround for this situation?

Sprint Mogul GPS?
Ok i know the Mogul doesnt have an internal GPS reciever...but does anyone know where i can get one (perferably in a craddle mount form) and who makes it or where can i get it. and does anyone know if Sprint Navigation will then work?

mogul not responding too good.
i just recently downloaded the today screens, youtube, and the pic mail to a number. now for some reason my alarm doesnt go off till i click on the screen. and it seems to be running slow. is there something i can do and still keep these programs?

Cannot adjust ringer volume with custom ringtones
Anyone else have this problem? even if i switch the ringer control to off, my ringer still blares with my custom ringers! other people have had similar issues but i cannot find an answer, any suggestions?

VOLUME!
I have been using this phone for like 2 weeks now, and does anyone else think the volume is very low? I work at a bust sprint store and if the store is noisy it is very hard for me to hear...i have had a few customer complaints as well.

Does anyone Mogul do this?
from sliding it open and closed on the sensor its starting to scratch the right side, the left side is getting scratched but not as bad as the right side.

So its coming, but when???
The Samsug i760 is here, as the press release from VZW promised, BUT no dates were given for the other 3 phones. Anyone know when the xv6800 is coming out? I'm sure VZW must have told their employees SOMETHING, but phone customer service first claimed to not know anything about it, then, when I pointed her to the press release, said no date was given. Exactly. Hence my call.

WHAT IS VERIZON WAITING FOR CHRISTMAS?
When i was younger my father would say what are you waiting for Christmas when it came to me doing my chores. Well i think verizon is trying to get back at me. SPRINT IS RELEASING THE TOUCH IN NOVEMBER and it was just was put in the spotlight a month or so ago and AT&T ALREADY RELEASED THE TILT. I don't understand verizons marketing. They are so far behind in the latest phones its sad.
