Motorola Q Global / Q9h
In stores this week
My local sales rep stated they have been told the phone will be in local stores next week. They were not sure if announcement will be made this Friday and available on Premier then. However, this ties up with the previous October 9 through 15 indications and the Tilt/Kaiser announcement today (see HoFo) that the phone will be "out" 10/05. I would expect both phones to be released together as they would provide options to PDA purchasers (will buy one or the other) and would create quite the splash.

I went by an ATT corporate store this evening. One of the Reps there confirmed that they would be receiving the Tilt and Q9 tomorrow (Thursday)!

I was at a Motorola training session for this device last week and I won a free one. The Motorola employee told me they would have to mail it to me because it was supposed to get approved by AT&T on Tuesday 10/09 before they can release it. I guess it normally takes a few days after approval to be announced.
I'm usually not a big fan of Motoroloa products but from what I saw this is a pretty nice phone. I was thinking of selling it but I am actually starting to re-consider and replace my Blackjack with it. I think the GPS and 3.6 speeds sold me lol.
