I was looking into upgrading to this phone from the V170. I was just wondering how much does texting cost and Internet cost? I also hear you can download ringtones/wallpaper using tracfone units, if this true and how many units does it cost?

Texting is .3 incoming and outgoing. 1 minute of internet access is .5 units. Wallpapers are 5.97 units plus access charges. Polytones are 6.97 and real tones are 8.97, plus access.

Will I have to use the tracfone website to download these items or can they be from any website? Can you search anything on the net or just certain pages? Would you recommend this phone?

You can either use TracFone's site or the phone's built in browser, but the site's cheaper. And dispite my annoyances with OS lag, I would recommened this phone.

my sister wants to buy one of these but she doesnt like phones that say the company name...so does this phone have removable phone covers? if not does it say tracfone on it?

It doesn't have removable covers. As for branding, there's only one Tracfone logo affixed to the battery cover than can be removed.
