"My Sounds"
I have some ringtones saved to the "My Sounds" folder. When I try to access thes tones under the "Sounds Settings" menu, the "My Sounds" menu does not display. Has Verizon taken this option away so that you have to buy ringtones and alert tones?

The files in the sounds folder cannot be used as ringtones. The only sounds I've been able to save as ringtones are mp3's. The easiest thing to do is to email them to your phone (yournumber@vzwpix.com) or thru a site like mobile17.com.

You should be able to go to menu> Get It Now> Music & Tones> My Sounds> highlight the sound you want as a ringtone> right soft key for options> send to your own number, then it will come to you in your inbox as a pix message, open the message, press the right soft key, highlight save as ringtone, and you should be set.

I just tried that but when I open the message and hit the right soft key, "save as ringtone" is not an option. All it says is "save sound".
