alarm question

i just got this phone....and i was was wondering...

is there anyway to set the alarm to vibrate on this phone? i set it to no ring, but nothing happens (to alert me that is...) i have my alarm set to go off every night, and having it make noise is not a good option for me...yet i need it to get me to pay attention to it...
yeah so, will it vibrate for alarm?

I just checked it out on mine. When you create the event in the calendar, you can select how you want to be notified (tone, vibrate). Select "tone" and hit "set". Choose "no ring". Select "vibrate" and hit "set". Your choices are "on" and "off". It was automatically set to "off" on my phone.

i already tried to set it as a calendar event, no ring, set to vibrate...
it does nothing...just lights up saying i have an event....
i think it vibrates when it's set to have a ring too...

thanks though...

so far though, this is the only annoyance i have with the phone...its only a minor inconvenience...

This is the only way I was able to get it to work: create the event, set any sound as the alarm, turn vibrate on. After that, I set my ringer to vibrate...then it worked.

yeah, i got it to work if i set the phone to vibrate...i was just hoping there was a way to make the alarm or calendar event vibrate without having to set the whole phone to vibrate...

on my last phone (an lg) i could set it so the alarm will vibrate no matter what the whole phone is set to....
