Why does at&t always get the ugly LG's
Verizon always gets the sexy looking devices from LG. (I'm digging the new 8550)
AT&T always gets the boxy-bulky looking handsets.

Actually, I think the GSM Shine (for Europe, the slider one) was quite pretty, but for the most part, most LGs I've seen has been less than aesthetically pleasing.

Hey, it's considerably better looking than LG's first efforts for the CinguAT&T line.

I agree that it looks better than the earlier phones...remember the CU500 that looked like it was just thrown together with spare parts or the CU320 with it's ridiculously tiny keys?

Are you kidding? The chocolate is hideous, and the design flaws are astoundingly stupid. I like the trax, though. I think it's pretty- and shiny!

It's because the two carriers have to diffrent networks they work with and the company is split in diffrent departments based by the commpany they are dedicated to)) **ie motorola has a IDEN team and a GSM team as well as a CDMA team and only very popular handsets will make it across all networks (like the razr for example)** so each company will get a completley diffrent array of handsets.. 😎

the lg shine jsut made its way to at&t. we just got our first shipment today. they look much better than most of the other ones that we have had. 3g, 2mp camera. hottttt

yeah...that is ALL I ever look for in a phone is fashion over function. You need to put the computer away and go listen to your Britney Spears CD and leave technology to the grown ups.
