Is the curve coming to verizon \?
currently use the moto Q thinking of switching to the 8830 but would love to get the curve if anybody knows when we might get it on verizon. that would be great

Possibly, but not for a while. at&t has a 6 or 12 month exclusive on it (can't remember which).
Also there's the issue of size. According to a few reports I've read the reason the pearl has yet to be released with Sprint/Verizon is they can't fit the CDMA internals inside.

Because of the technology Verizon uses for their phones (CDMA), most of the time they are last to get cool phones. Not all the time, but often. The rest of the world uses GSM technology and its a much bigger market so often phone companies will release and make those phones first.

I heard that the pearl is coming to verizon by the end of this year. I could not wait so I left Verizon for AT&T and so far I am happy.

pearl and the curve should both be out by the 4th quarter on verizon...according to several rumors floating around on the internet.
I really think verizon needs to lower their data prices if they want they curve to appeal to a more widespread market...curve isnt just for business users, but verizon's data plans are priced more inline with business users.
