Periodically, while browsing the web, watching a movie, on google maps, or just completly randomly, the phone just turns off and reboots. It doesn't happen all that often. Maybe like 2-3 times a week.

Is this normal? my friend has one and it doesn't happen to him, he also doesn't have all the media i have put on my mediacard.

I put 2 movies each about 300mb, some music, and some pictures. One day the blackberry wouldn't even read the card. I tried taking it in and out, rebooting a few times. nothing. Put the card in my cardreader for the computer, and it wouldn't show up. SOOO I reformatted it to the blackberry and put all the stuff back on, but hopefully it doesn't do that agian when i have more stuff on that I can't back up.

PS... I have the beltclip/case, that is magnetic. Could that be messing the whole phone up?

Hey, if you don't mind, I want to ask you some ?'s about the Curve.

1. I checked it out recently @ a local AT&T store, and I had trouble using the trackball, first of all, I tried to scroll right, it would go down, it often did the opposite of what I was trying to do. The trackball doesn't look the same as it does in the picture on PhoneScoop, so perhaps from too much use, or whatever it broke,...maybe. I just want to know, is the trackball really easy, and relibable to use?
2. With reguards to this whole memory card situation, have you yourself used a 4gig microSD card in your Curve? I'd like to know, how does it do @ loading 3gigs or more of music, and so on, cause I have an older phone, that uses miniSD, and it takes at least 90 secon...

Your Blackberry collects Cache just like a computer would. Occasionally you need to go in and clean that. You do this by hitting your "Menu" key while on the web, go down to "Options" and select the "Cache" and delete all except "Pushed Content" that should help. I use the browser and have noticed that a time or two while trying to download a large file it overloads the processor and shuts down like your computer would.
