i'm a cingular, new att cust and the suspense is killing me 😢 🤤 ...it says the release is aug. for the w580, 😳 so how come a major carrier hasnt picked up one of these phones?? 😕 who know's who to contact because i was going to do a w810i thru warrenty exchange for a blckbrry 8100 pearl and they no longer have the walkmans...any insiders that can give us the scoop, or who to yell at?? lol.. 😁

I'm in Texas and have the same problem. No store has the w580, and ATT won't let me upgrade to it. They don't even offer to try to figure out why I can't get it either... Does anyone know what the deal is? I really want this phone!

if you log into your acct, select you want to upgrade your phone, it will tell you you arent eldg if you arent up for renewal, but it will give you the no committment pricing...269.99, has 50.00 mail in rebate card, apparently it will be carried in grey as well because when i accidently tried to edit my device online w580i grey was an option...however i do not see it avail for purch as of yet, i emailed att to inq when it will avail in stores and telesales...i'll post when i hear

And no your wrong, retail reps for verizon are no better than retail reps for at&t, your just excited about your new job so you feel like writing crap on at&t outside your vw forums. How about sticking to your own and talking about your LG chocolates and envys with crap menus and crap vw lockdowns. Dude, get a life.

😁 to correct you i work in customer care, not the store and i have been for a long time...not a "new" job...and we are info'd on new policies,proceedures, and products on a daily basis...i cant speak for the stores knowledge of wether or not they read the info put out on a daily ba...

Hey, I kinda found this out on accident. If you open up the $50 rebate on the att site for this phone their is an option for a white or a gray phone. I haven't seen a gray one at all but I thought this might help you all. Does anyone know when the corporate stores will be getting this phone in stock or will it remain a online sale only? Also, which phone would you go with, v9 or 580i for att. Thanks.

yeah i saw it...but i already called at&t and they only have the white one.

they had the gray one on the site the first day it came out then removed it about 20 minutes later. i upgraded to it, thinkin it was white but i received the gray and returned it. great phone though
