found a black one on daydeal.com, as well as another model (sony 810) . why arent these on this site to review? it said that they were unlocked to any gsm carrier so does that mean that att doesnt sell it and ill have to get it online?

the w810i _IS _ on this website to review, it's no longer on the AT&T mobility menu, they've discontinued it. as far as I know the W580 will come in three colors, white, black and grey, not all are going to be released at the same time, right now they just offered the white one and they're out of stock as of today.
any unlocked gsm phone that's not an AT&T original branded should work for phone and walkman purposes, however you may run into issues with internet, some phones have preset internet settings and may not be adjusted to let you use the ATT wireless internet.
