$29.99 at Radioshack as a go phone
we've had this phone for about a week now at radioshack. it sells for 30 bucks as a prepaid. great features for a go phone, mainly the fm radio.

It's just like my Nokia 6030 last fall...but i can't understand why companies are still making two band phones ... as cheap as it can be, why aren't they all quad band now?

For a phone at this price point, obviously aimed at prepaid customers that dont int'l roam, i am not suprised its 850/1900 only. 900/1800 bumps up component cost and part count. its not free .. even today.

Since I don't know where your Radshack is I cannot have fun by coming in to ask the question. Just have to ask it here. 😉
Tell me now, how do I get to that FM radio? Seems to be missing from my phone.

Interesting. Is it a outside retail exclusive like the Blue Razrs where or do you think stores will carry them? It looks like it replaces the c139 nicely.

It WILL be carried in stores...I'm getting 2 of them tomorrow and I'll let you know how it is. If you wanted of course, you could get this phone on a contract (dont know why you would though). If this interests anyone, and you like the candybar style...Wait until the A727 is available, shortly if not already out. It has many more features and shouldnt be too much more money.

I asked because some people want cheap stuff and there seems to be a lack of it lately. A majority of the customers I've been getting lately have been "I broke my phone and its my fault so what are you going to give me for free because I've been a Cingular customer for xxx years?"

I got mine for $20 at Office Depot this week.
Where is the FM Radio that you speak of? Is this feature disabled on the GoPhone?
