Just picked this phone up today, was planning on originally getting the 8400 but the pulled it today, so for the same price after mail-in I got this phone. If anyone has any questions as far as features, or anything goes, just let me know, and I'd be more than happy to answer.

To be completely honest, I think the the reception is poor at best. In my house, my old slider (a800) at least got some service, and went into roaming which is fine by me. The Muziq barely gets a bar in my home, and doesn't pick up much of a roaming signal. It's a neat phone, and has great MP3 player capabilities, but I think im going to take it back in and spend the extra 30 bucks and get the DLX

Thought I liked this phone until I discovered it had to be charged every 12 hrs. Dissapointed!!

That's odd. I have had mine for about 3 days now and it seems to get better recption then the fusic I had before.

Also to answer your question about the ear piece quality, It's not bad, but it's pretty quiet. It does sound nice however, if you turn it up too loud you can hear the ear piece capping out I think.

I just checked this phone out at the store, but it seems that the external display doesn't show the sprint music player. instead, it shows "application running."
Have you found a way to make the Musiq act like the Fusic, where it actually has the external display of the song etc..?

Yeah, the reason being is that if you don't have any music on the music player, so it displays an error if there's no card/music and that's why it says application running. Once you have music/card it will take a few seconds to load and then go to your music. Hope this helps.

it works just fine on my Muziq. you hold dow the camera then you hold down the music button and it pops up... the display phone usualy have the music aplication set up with a pin number that no one at the store knows.

I have been playing around with this phone, I love it by the way!!! And I haven't found the perfect resolution for pictures I upload onto the phone from my computer, does anybody know what size is best. And when I try to assign them onto a contact, it says failed. Please help!! Also, what is the file format ring tones need to be in, in order for the phone to recognize it as a ring tone? If any can help me with my questions that would be awesome!!
