I am excited I think?
Can anyone tell (in Layman's terms) if I should be excited about this phone? I have a w810i, and while this phone has a better camera(optical zoom?) and has a2dp bluetooth. Other than that is it going to be that much better? Thanks

if your not looking for a phone with a better camera more features updated bluetooth, larger display and faster data speeds then i guess you have nothing to look forward too.

Also has auto-rotate, which I think is super cool, and some touch sensitive controls, which is also cool.

As a fellow W810 owner, I'm extremely excited about this phone. I was very close to picking up a W580 before I heard the 850 was going to be released this year. Thanks to the high quality pics that my 810 takes with it's 2MP autofocus camera, I haven't taken my digital cam out of it's drawer in months. The 850 takes everything I love about my phone, and kicks it up to the next level.
As far as I'm concerned, Late November can't come soon enough. I'm gonna be taking some awesome photos this Christmas 😎

I'm just curious, you said in your post "late November", is that your personal estimation, or have you actually heard that from an ATT employee??? I'd like to know, because I'm also very interested in this handset, but I might not have the money til late November anyway.
I heard from an ATT rep, on this forum by the way, that it's going to be $300w/2yr. Not bad for a 5mp cameraphone!!!
If you know where to get a wired earpiece and stereo headphones for the K850 please let me know.

From other forums that I have read it will be late Dec for AT&T release. And I think $300 is to much for this phone, you can get the tilt for that price with contract. It needs to be around $200 with contract.

Damn! I hope your wrong, I'm not in the mood to wait until the end of December! I live in Las Vegas, and the Frontier is being imploded on the strip, I'd like to use the K850 to record video of the implosion!
Personally, I think the K850 is worth it, one it has a 5mp shooter, plus it does incorporate some new technology, the touch sensitive controls.
