Tech support guy at CellOne call center in Iowa let slip that he got a chance to play with the new CyberShot phone when an SE rep came into the office last week. The rep said that they would be the first to be getting them, and they should be out around thanksgiving.
I didn't ask him for more details, but the next CyberShot phone isn't coming out until '08, and it would be really easy to confuse the 850 as part of that line. It also jives with the other rumors I've heard on the SE forums that pointed towards a "just before or just after Thanksgiving" release date. CellOne was also the first to carry the W580i, as it was on store shelves almost a month before AT&T announced they'd be carrying it. I was set to pick up the 580 till I heard ...
