How to put songs into your MP3 player?

I bought the phone and I loaded up my 1gb mem card with mp3 files; but the mp3 player does not load any of the songs pls help. before I throw this garbage away.

first you have to format your memory card through the phone. go to menu...go to settings...than memory card...than format card....than you have to reload all your mp3s on the card. yayyy...its a total pain in the a$$....i did the same thing
