Why? I thinks it's a great phone. The processor, call clarity, nothing bad to say about it. I've had it for 4 days now. Do you actually have the phone? It is a good update to the original Q.

fast, at least in certain parts of my area. I was actually in a vzw store and it runs slower there, than it does at my house.(Detroit metro area)

the curve is definatly NOT coming to verizon in 2007. you may see a bb pearl out this year if everything goes well, but again THE CURVE WILL NOT BE ON VERIZON 2007..case closed

it's going to come down to longevity. It's going to come down to battery life. It's going to come down to applications that you will be able to find for the device. I just fear the company selling a product that hasn't had a good track record to begin with... like the razor, krazor, v710, e815, t720, t730. pretty much any motorola since the v60.
